Autohaus Diagnostics is an independent BMW & MINI specialist established in 2006.

We offer a personal, professional and friendly service from technicians who take pride in their workmanship. Our Services

Autohaus Diagnostics manufacturer trained technicians are proud to work on all BMW & MINI cars, as an Independent specialist we guarantee all our customers an exceptional level of service and technical expertise at competitive prices.

Servicing & Repairs

We understand the importance of correct servicing and maintenance of your BMW or MINI, so as a BMW AOS account holder we have access to the very latest software & technical information, this system enables us to follow the manufacturer’s service schedule’s and repair instruction’s to ensure the correct procedures are followed. We use a combination of Genuine & carefully selected OE quality aftermarket parts, lubricants & fluids are picked from the BMW/MINI approved list.

Electrical Diagnosis

Should you require us to investigate a fault on your vehicle, using a range of diagnostic equipment we have the capability to troubleshoot a vast number of electronic systems. Working with the latest BMW/MINI diagnosis system we can check, program & update software and code the various control modules fitted to your car.

Digital service record

All new BMW & MINI models have a digital service history. On completion of your vehicle’s service, the procedures carried out are logged with BMW AG & then transferred via an online connection into your car. This entry can then be viewed under the ‘service history’ heading on the central information display.

Air conditioning

We understand the importance of climate control at all times of the year. We can offer servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to your air conditioning system. Our workshop is fully equipped for vehicles with the popular R134a gas and the more recent R1234YF gas (also known as F gas). Cleaning and disinfectant treatments available.

MOT Arrangement

Although we are not an MOT test station, we can take care of this process for you. If you drop your car off with us, we will arrange the MOT test, carry out any repairs if required and reset the MOT reminder in the service information system (if applicable).

Although our business is small we believe this offers a great advantage to our customers.

Autohaus Diagnostics is a partnership between Andrew Hall and Craig McDonald, two highly skilled and dedicated motor vehicle technicians with over 30 years combined experience gained in the BMW dealership networks.

Andrew was main dealer trained since 1994, joining BMW in 2002.
He attended the BMW training programme achieving senior technician status during his 16 year service.

Craig joined the BMW apprenticeship scheme in 1993 through Castle BMW York.
He attended the North of England BMW training college & completed several courses at BMW UK’s training centres and attained Senior Technician status during his 13 year service.

Thanks to these changes in legislation, you can get maximum value-for-money car servicing from a top quality independant garage, without the fear of invalidating your vehicle warranty. Autohaus Diagnostics can service any BMW or MINI to the prescribed standards set out by the manufacturer.

We use Shell & Mobil lubricants which are approved by BMW, selecting the precise grade and quality for your vehicle from BMW’s approved lubricants list. Coupled with genuine and carefully selected after market OE quality parts fitted by fully trained BMW technicians, you can be confident that your vehicle is receiving the highest standard of care without the main dealer price tag.
